Description

This course is the BLS instructor course that runs through the RCSA

 

Requirements:

Must be BLS current

Must have a training centre that is willing to have you align with them

Included:

  1. Instructor manual hard copy from the AHA
  2. 2 day formal instructor course
  3. Monitoring fee (for the first monitoring event)

Costs not included here:

  1. The BLS instructor essentials course
  2. Although monitoring costs are covered – travel and accommodation requirements for monitoring are not – these will be for the training centre/instructors account.
  3. Instructor fees for registration with RCSA

Once the course is complete, the instructor will need to be monitored teaching a BLS course and meet all the requirements to be accepted as a BLS instructor with RCSA – these criteria can be found on the RCSA website under policies.
