The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor course is a 2 day course that teaches an aspirant instructor houw The course includes an online component and an in-person component. 

What the course covers 

  • How to prevent cardiac arrest
  • How to build high-performance teams
  • How to perform high-quality CPR
  • How to recognize and treat cardiopulmonary arrest
  • How to care for patients after cardiac arrest
  • How to treat acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS)

What this course cost includes:

  1. ACLS Hard Copy Instructor Manual
  2. 2 days in class
  3. Certification upon successful completion of the programme (once monitored as an ACLS instructor)

What this price does NOT include:

  1. The Instructor essentials program must be completed by each instructor candidate before the course

  2. R2170-00 for the ACLS Instructor DVD (Should you want a personal copy / should your training centre require one).

  3. Monitoring/instructor assessment fee: This will be determined by the ACLS Faculty member that you book for your assessment.

  4. Travelling and accommodation costs: Should an ACLS Faculty member be required to travel to conduct your instructor assessment.

Prerequisites to enroll:

  1. Must be BLS Instructor Current
  2. Must have presented at least 4 BLS courses
  3. Must be ACLS EP Current
  4. Must be RCSA Registered
